My undergraduate degree is in philosophy and humanities from the University of Chicago. I have two masters, one from Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy and a second from the College of Saint Rose in Adolescent Education. I have been a teacher for thirteen years, including English, environmental science, social studies, biology, chemistry, and math. I have taught kindergarten through university level.
I began and run a not for profit that is creating a sustainable village in Uganda. I have farmed, raised animals, and traveled extensively.
I am published, including in a recent book titled "Critical Civic Literacy" and have written research papers for publication for multiple faculty at universities both in America and abroad. I am currently traveling extensively while running my not-for-profit and am looking for enjoyable ways to supplement my income. I love writing and research and this is an ideal way to continue doing what I love.
